hrmm well see as long as hes not sick (or if he is gets better) and dosent pass anything to the rest of my snakes ill be happy

so can snakes do that due to stress ? (the crap thing)
none of my other snakes have ever done it

mite treatment i used was permoxin sprayed all over the snake and rubbed in by hand then rinsed/dunked in a tub of water and washed then i repeated it again to make sure and now hes away from rest of reptiles in a stark tub with a plastic hide and glass water dish with newspaper on the floor which i was gonna have him in for a week then i was gonna repeat mite treatment and put him in with the rest of collection

no expert, let it settle in for few days, with no contact and isolate from other snakes

RE: new murry darling

Is the poo solid or runny, (sorry guys) and can you see any worms in it?

If not runny and no worms, then i suggest it is just stress, stick a teatowl over the cage and leave it alone for a week, no handling, no cleaning of the cage nothng, then it should be fine, i have a similar prob with a bredli a couple of years ago, and after a week of solitary she was fine and has been the best snake, the pridse of my collection, ever since.

RE: new murry darling

If it has worms then the poo will be covered with them. My geuss is stress as well or could have just had a lot of pent up crap.

RE: new murry darling

I would say stress although 8 craps is a lot .
when we got our female coastal she crapped twice at first and it also looked like partly digested food

RE: new murry darling

Actually Ken hun, its quite normal to see big patches of fur in the poo especially if it is nervously pooing quickly after a feed and not digesting it at all. Dont worry, just put it in a quiet corner and leave it alone for a week, trust me.
