New Olive

This is my Olive, 3 months old, from congopython who still has some from the same clutch for sale (see for sale forum)
Awesome snake great temperament, very inquisitive. Every time I walk by his enclosure I can't resist taking him out for a 'walk'.
Has never even looked like striking me.
Fedding without fail on fuzzies
Highly recommended breeder.

thats awesome esp since olives get a bad rep for being more of a bitey snake.
he's very cute

He's so cute. Shame they dont stay that small, i would be a little intimidated by something that gets as big as an olive.

I didn't know they had a rep for that. I know they can be aggresive feeders.
As a multiple Jungle owner, I am very used to being tagged, but the Olive is Placid as.
Every time I go past his tank if he's near the glass he taps his snout on the glass, like 'pick me up pleeeeease'

Love the Olive

i guess i mean more bitey than a childrens python hehehhe.
or a bredli like i am getting.

it's great to see active snakes. i bet taking him out for little 'walks' all the time will be a work out on your arms when he grows up.

I have an outdoor enclosure too, it's tall and wide with a massive tree branch in it abou 2.5m of climimg room. All my snakes get a couple of hours in the sunlight as often as I can. Have to watch them though as the bloody cats jump up on top of the wire.
My snakes are well exercised.

I know what you mean though, walking will become a problem when the Olive is bigger!
