Hix that ven is a RBBS i think (he wouldn't do that with the Spotted black). It is SNAKES DOWNUNDER at Childers and the park is fantastic. As for the vens- they continually remind people not to do this at home, etc etc and if the kids aren't listening then they remind the parents to tell the kids not to attempt to pick up snakes. They are just trying to make people realise they really arent bad. It really is a great show-i'd love an APS get together there.

Oh aby the way, top shots EIROC!!!!! Keep them coming,

Simone.

As Simone said, it is an RBB, and I agree, the park is well worth the visit. The RBB has been handled like that pretty much everyday and is now 16 years old. Apparently she has never struck at anybody. She was crawling all over him and even around his neck, just like a carpet python. But as Simone said they are very conscious about telling people the dangers etc of snakes in Aus. I was totally inspired by this place and how lucky he is to have a park like that as his own back yard. I'm sure we have some more pics, I'll have a dig around and see what I can find on Eirocs computer while he's at work, hehe.
