I can't remember which two the above were but I think the second was labelled an inland but i remember thinking it resembled more of an eastern brown because it had a speckled underbody. However, I can't be sure so those who might know, feel free to comment.

Oh my god tan, that shot of Dave the Perentie is spectacular........ It really shows him in his true form. I love it when he struts up and down his pit- he know's he is gorgeous too!
I've been to the park 3 times and will go again when my family come up for the hols. They really are top keepers. Jamie and Ian's shows are great.
Did Macca the Croc put on a good show for you or did he do the ballet (gentle rolls) thats he does when i'm there lol?
Simone.

Haha, no croc ballets but those lizards and monitors sure love posing for the camera! It makes it easy to take a nice pic when they pose for you. I think hubby actually took the perentie pic, I just cropped it for him. It is a lovely park, I would have liked more time but we were driving through to Bris, so we had a fly by visit.

I still think everyone in Qld should arrange an APS day out there lol.
Macca's ballet is when he gently rolls in the water- but my last visit there he chased Ian around the pond and really smashed his head around and carried on a treat lol.
The perentie is great to photograph, he seems to strut more when the camera's are out. LOL
Simone.

Yep, Snakes Down Under is an awesome place and it's becoming more popular through "Word of mouth". I've been twice so far, and have also been out herping with Jamie several times, accompanied by the gorgeous johnbowemonie.
Top stuff indeed.

Riley, you might be thinking of The bird park at the other end of town. And Hix, you're right, it's an inland and a coastal.
