Newbie Here!!!!

Hi Everyone, just wanted to say hi and congrats on an awesome forum!!

I pick up my first snake in about 6 weeks... YAY!!! It hasn't hatched yet. After watching my friends massive collection of snakes and seeing how they are cared for i am getting my own. How exciting... It's Mum is a black and gold carpet python(?) with an amazing calm temperment. That's why he has said i can have one from that batch as it will be a good starter. I will be getting my plastic container ready in a couple of weeks to make it homely for the little wriggler.

I do have a question though, was on the internet last night looking for good books on caring and different species information so i can have my own little manuals... Does anyone know where you can get good ones???
