|  | Sdaji Subscriber | Join Date: Jun-04 Location: Victoria | | | They've been bred heaps of times, I've seen quite a few captive bred ones, and also eggs in incubators and little hatchlings (which are typically extremely difficult to get feeding on mice). I think most of the Night Tigers in captivity originate from Katherine. Almost all of the ones I've seen have. The eggs are so easy to incubate, you could probably do it in a bucket of water in the fridge. I haven't incubated the NT ones, but I've done east coast Brown Tree-snakes and have incubated them in extremely wet and extremely dry media (perlite and vermiculite). They're very thick shelled eggs. People who have done both tell me there is no difference and I'd be surprised if there was.

They like to climb, so mine is about 6 ft high but only about 2ft wide and 2 ft deep. He has a hide box right up the top. He also has a hide box at the bottom, and though he uses both, you need to remember they are arboreal so need branches and stuff to climb on. |
