Now i think she is more scared than when i first got her....actually i know she is but i'm still hoping she'll come around..
Ben

I thought it was something I wanted to overcome but now I don't want to see it out of the enclosure at all.
So I guess my thoughts are that if she doesn't like snakes, don't push her into having any interaction with it unless it's on her own terms and if she doesn't want you to get one in the first place (sorry, I should have concentrated more when I was reading the thread, don't know if you actually have a snake already), then you really should respect that and take it into consideration before before getting the snake (unless of course you have one already which makes what I'm saying slightly redundant!)
If I had a say in the matter Ben wouldn't have the snake... give me bunny rabbits & dragons any day!! |

Dreamt I found a beardie behind the bed which was great, but then went to check if mine had escaped and Ben's bredli struck at my face again. Then I went back into the bedroom to ask Ben if I could put this new beardie into another enclosure he had on his lap and he smiled and showed me the massive jungle python he had in there... I freaked out, and told him it was over & I was moving out... Then I stormed out the front, had a weird encounter with a girl I've never met... But that's another story entirely!!
So Ben... if you're even CONSIDERING getting another snake... It's me or the snake... but this time I mean it!! |

My husband had a Diamond python once and she definitely did not like me either, she would try and strike me whenever she was out even if he was holding her.
I am a lizard loving person, they are gorgeous! |

I would never ever harm one and I still think they are amazing creatures but they scare the crap out of me and I just don't understand this lack of respect for that?
As for lizards... they have legs & I love them | | |
