Not a bad looking road kill

Came across this fella on the road a while back. Pity another car beat me to it. Would have been good to be able to help it off the road to safety.

Oh well, it could have been worse. It could of been a King Brown.

Unfortunately little ones often don't get seen or are mistaken for sticks. Even more unfortunate is when they're recognised as snakes and people keep going, straight over them. Heading up the malaney ranges one day we saw a nice coastal on the road up ahead, the 4x4 in front also saw it and swerved to make sure he hit it... I was sooo incredibly angry.

Such a beautiful BHP. Real shame.
