not eating

hi all about 5 weeks ago i put together a new tank for my Childrens Python and was eating fine until now she will go up to food but wont eat any ideas ( this has been going on for 2 weeks should i be worried? )

not at this stage,i gather u have had the snake a while,and u recently put it in a new cage,if yes,just give it a bit more time,are the temperatures right.Cheers

yeah i have had her for a while, all the temps are ok nothing has really changed other than alot more room to play around with

the thing is the first 2 feeds i gave her in the new tank she was fine then just stoped

not eating for a few weeks isn't a huge problem but some ideas if the temps are correct as previously stated and she continues to not eat,

1. try both mice and rats
1. try scenting with chicken or quail, can be just as simple as a feather sometimes
1. try quails

antaresia are notorious for going off their food for no apparent reason and after a while resume feeding. If it's only been two weeks since it fed, I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep offering food and see what happens.

Just saw a post where some one had the same problem (except not new cage) and turned out it was just shedding, didnt eat for 3 weeks

i have been keeping an eye on her and she is always hiding moves from spot to spot. i even saw her sleeping right next to food but didn't eat it lol
