I love it!! Unreal diamond!! Just the way i like them. I have kept and bred dark diamonds similar to this one and unfortunately only a few of the babies turned out like the adults. Most came as typical patterned diamonds or high yellows.

I hope a dedicated diamond breeder starts cranking these dark ones out to knock high yellow diamonds off their pedestal once and for all.

Top diamond!!

Yeh ,but the reall reason there is few black diamonds around is because they dont do as well as the some of the sus high yellow ones around and other creations generally.Thats been my experience over the years and the experience of allot of other keepers, many of the wild diamonds that have been put into the system legally and illegally are dead.Ive noticed that yours and fayes seem to have really small clutches etc if you had some carpet blood in there behold they would be more fertile etc.I can see why the Barkers at VPI gave up on diamonds and the imformation they gave on them that they usually breed once etc isnt too far off the mark.If they done well in captivity we would have heaps in sydney, gosford and wollongong and they would all be pure diamonds, but that isnt the case.

Black Diamonds are stunning looking snakes.

I'd love to get one eventually.

I have one, not that black though. That is something special. My girl still has some pattern coming through in places but generally its as though it has been coated over with black paint and you can just make out the colors underneath. I have experienced the same as others have said with people not really liking the darker colored diamonds. Its definately a matter of taste, some like bright colors some dont . Took some video of her outdoors the other day will see how it somes out and post stills if they are any good, tried in the past and they are usually too dark.
