Depends on the size of the olives, mine will be moved into 2mx1mx1m enclosures at the end of the year.

how big? 8 X 2' is about 2400mm X 600mm X 600mm..... this isnt quite a meter wide but it is pretty long, I'm thinking that may make up for it?

I'd make it deeper, say 3ft.

General consensis for adult olives is 2mx1mx1m, but it all depends on how big the olive is.

So how big is the olive?

It depends what you are going to feed. For a snake that size you would be looking a least feeding small dogs or dare I say cats. Make sure its high enough for maybe a wallaroo. Thats enough . I should have stirred up enough passion to keep everyone going for the night.

Stir up what? i have heard that some ppl here feed mice and rats to their animals and i think some ppl here may not even be vegans you should all be ashamed you animal muderers

but back to the topic... would it be ok to keep olive pythons outside in brsibane? would additional heating be required or is it a bad idea?
