when i got my pair olives were ranging from between 350 and 500 for hatchlings.
without stating the obvious but they can start off in smaller enclosures, just move them up as they grow! adults would want to be in something at least 6*2*2foot. but ideally with a bit more height. if you were planning on keeping two together you would want to up those measurements again.
i have my two 3 year olds in enclosures 6 foot high, 3 foot wide and 2 foot deep. with enough branches, rocks etc they love to climb around.
i have used the heating cables from URS and found them to be pretty good. i also have a spot bulb in for a hot spot but am looking at adding more heating, as winters down here are a bit colder than tropical north queensland where i have been for the last few years!
hope this helps you out guys,
bombie

| I've just sent a deposit to simon stone for a pair off olives for the $350 each, I haven't heard from roy pails since I sent him a email about mid december, Quote: |
Have you ever heard of frieght cockroach !
| but it wouldn't be about $50 to import as I sure roy will get a discount cause he moves so many animals to other states

I have a 4 ft female and a male hatchie coming from Simon Stone. The girl is form last season, they grow quite fast. Atm she is in a large tub on a heat mat and will soon be moving into a larger enclosure once I have finished building it.
