Our two Darwins

We got some nice pics of our other babies today so i thought i would share! They are both Darwin carpet pythons but one is alot darker then the other Sakima is a boy and we are unsure of the new ones sex so "shim" is unnamed till "shim" sheds

This is the water loving one who is Damiens and we have had him almost three weeks:

And this is Sakima loving outside!

Hi Bubbaloush
Nice looking Darwins!
Just watch with the Darwin in the water as it could be a sign of mites.

Only a higher humidity when they are coming up for a slough, other than that excessive humidity with snakes can increase your chances of a respiratory infection as germs like breeding in this environment. Darwins are just like any other carpet but being found right up around the top end, they might prefer it a little warmer than most.

My darwin, and others I've owned, from time to time will completely submerge in their water bowls, it doesn't necessarily mean you've got mites but it's still worth a look under the fold of the lower jaw (just gently pull it apart and look for black dots!). It's always a good habit to regularly check over your animals anyway.

Lovely Darwins by the way, they are beautiful snakes!
