out side snakes inside

just wondering if ang one else has had this happen

the other day i noticed that there was a snake skin on top of one of my enclosers from a snake that is the wrong size to be any of ours i just dissmissed it as a one of thing but then 2 days later in the same spot was a fresh snake terd so i spent the day looking for this snake but no luck yet

any ideas on how to find/catch it so it can go back out side

Sarahbell,

Do you know what type of snake it is? The shed may give it away... If it's a python, then check at night time. It sounds like it is using the warmth from the top of the cage. If it's possible, you could put some talcom (sp?) powder around and then follow the snake tracks... It may help a bit.

Let us all know how you go with this. It would be interesting to know what it is. What region are you in? Do you know what snakes occur in your area?

thanks ill give the talcom powder a go
i live near the sushine coast
as for snakes around here we have tiapans,whip snakes pale headed snakes, brown snakes they are the one that i have seen around could be pythons but havent seen any

no i wont do a steve irwin and go chasing it around :wink:


more worried about my daught finding it and picking it up
