actually, is there anything i should defintaly avoid putting in my tank?? i know it seems like a silly question, but i dont want my snake getting hurt over something little. (or at all!) |

The general consensus seemed to be that so long as they are cured, they should be ok. If you can, leave the hide out in the sun (on the roof etc) for a couple of weeks to burn off the nasties.
Also make sure you dont use any of the 'cadmium' (lead) colours as they are extremely toxic.
