i've had my childreni pairs and stimson's pairs together since the start of may in mating intervals.
Once the males seem dis-interested i spaw them over. multiply males has been working a treat as far as mating has been going. Even did some supervised male combating this season and got instant results with the drive of the males. I'll keep doing the week on week off for the next few months or until the mating drops right off and then wait and see if they where successful. Good signs so far

first week of june....but it all depends on how you cool them. i did a seasonal change droping a day light hours inside and outside the enclosures, every 2 months since about february. and same with the temps.

Depending on the species, supervised combating works a treat even gets the girls excited with two boy duelling for her effections. But be prepare to separate quicky if they start doing anymore then wrestling each other. I've tried the skin idea, works but not to the same extent. All trial and error with less on the error side of thing of course.
