You need to be part rock wallaby to chase any down where i find them. they do appear to grow larger than the books say. I would estimate one i have seen to be about 60 cm. but as always there are bigger than average specimens in all species |

|  | Sdaji Subscriber | Join Date: Jun-04 Location: Victoria | | | There are some legally held in Victoria on special permits. A well known and respected pet shop in Melbourne was selling them (illegally) for $800 a couple of years ago, I'd have snapped them up at the time if it was legal!
Rumour has it that there are reasonable numbers in Victoria, on the books as childreni. Probably true. I'm sure one day I'll have the opportunity to get them legally, and will be happy when that day arrives!

They are great little guys, but I do not think they are worth as much as the Kimberly Rock Monitors. Gavin Bedford advised my he intended to sell his hatchling KRM's when they are available for $5000 a pair. I really think that he has severely overpriced these as he has with his Albino Olives(only $50,000 a pair). |  | | |
