Pics of A. maculosa adults?

Anyone got photos of their adult A. maculosa pythons, especially next to things (like cola can, or people's arms) for size comparison? Am curious to know just how big (roughly) that my little fella's gunna grow up to be.

it really depends on what location your baby is from my female is about 105cm and i dont think she will get much bigger but my male has some cape york in him so he should grow to about 125cm. i would post a pic but camera aint working.

I have one a bit over 5' long and have seen a small number over 6'. I think I recall someone on this site claiming to have one two metres long, which I suppose isn't completely unbelievable.

Novel phenotypes from hybridisation events do exist, but they're not common and I doubt you'd find it in Antaresia length. maculosa is the largest of the Antaresia species, so unless something very unusual was going on, hybrids would be smaller. I've seen definate pure NT childreni which were close to 5' and wouldn't be at all surprised if pure cape york maculosa could exceed 6', in fact, I'd be amazed if they couldn't. I'm sure some hybrids will exceed 6', but I'm equally sure than pure maccies can too.

What are you basing your opinion on?
