Pics of gravid female in shed....

Hi

Just wanted to share some pics of my female biak GTP that was in shed at that time. You can see how full she is with developing eggs. She has just shed and after a week in the nestbox is back up basking so I think she should lay within a week or so:

Before breeding her she looked in perfect condition:

after three pairing she showed signs of being gravid and this is noticable if you see her increase in size in this shed.

Some pics from last year when she was a few days before laying her eggs, notice the back more on the side and depletion of fat, it's all eggs in there :

Let's hope she'll lay again this year and we can get this amazing event again!!!!

Cheers!!!!

Marc

Thanks!

Thanks Roadkill5000! I'm very excited again since she's looking so good this morning! She's basking nicely and looking as if there are good eggs developing, will be interesting to see if she produces more or less eggs than last time and what percentage of teh total eggs is Viable.

Sorry guys, I don't have any other snakes to post. Hope you don't mind these green monsters I'll try and get my hands on some beautiful Aussiesnakes oin the future!! Promise!

hmmm

all depends on the locality/designermorph. Ranging from 340Euro-800Euro for babies. Check some of the links on my website to European breeders and you can see what they ask for certain localities mostly or for designers in Europe as Glasers/sternchen or high yellows.
