Thought some of you might like to see some of the little ones i share my life with. Absolutely in love with these animals. These are all taken within the past week, so its a good idea of size etc.
First is Elih, got this little man off Jimmy ealier this year. Poor little guy had a rough start to life with a few broken bones but is packing on the weight now. 2 yrs, 4.5ft, 600g. Sweetest little dude, loves hot steamy baths and a rub down, even my father who is terrified of snakes likes him!
Next is Pi (Pie) in the first two pics of the Bredli, 20 months old, haven't measured length lately but he's about 3.5ft, skinny bugger at 250g. He was a demon as a little guy, and i'm a total wuss so he sued to freak me out dreadfully, but we've come a long way together and now he's a little sweetheart. Well... I don't trust him not to rearrange my nose given the opportunity but its progress!
Third Bredli is Flower (yeah, pathetic name i know) same age, same length as Pi, but a bit fatter at 300g as she can seriously put her food away when she's in the mood. She's still in 'demon stage'... but again, i'm a wuss, so getting there slow and steady.

Now Atticus, 2.5 years, 3.5 ft, 210g. Most darling little guy and my first snake! Can trust him to be good with absolutely everybody, never even tried to strike. When mates are over it's always him they rush to get out and say hi. Not so much a fan of baths but does like to have his moisturiser rubbed in every now and then. And the third one, sometimes i think he likes to play pirate, i have so many pics of him hanging over my shoulder with his tail coiled around some part of my attire. At least he hasn't pooped on me like this yet, unlike that ungrateful cockatiel of mine...
Obsidian, 9 months old (in another of my threads too) 35g, ruler length (lol) sweet little bugger, i love watching him strike at his food, he packs a punch for such a small thing! Every day i'm amazed at how soft their scales are, absolutely luxurious!
More coming...

Blondie, the blonde, 10 months, 25g, sub-ruler length (oh i don't know, never bothered to measure them!) this little critter gave me some stick with bad eating habits for the first month in my care, but has since been a good little man and chowed down like the rest of them. Actually, when i say 'man' i'm hoping it's a she. Would love to get into breeding these guys some day, such a fantastic creature to study.
Now on to the non-herps. After PhilK's thread on his newly acquired White-Kneed King Cricket and Giant Rainforest Mantid i simply had to have some myself! I got a lovely mantid (no pics sorry but they all look the same!) and two little Spiny-Leaf Insects. So, introducing Hector (the tiny brown) and Julian, no reason for the names they just seemed to work. These little things are simply stunning! Sorry about the terrible pics but i'm no good taking them one handed All they need is somewhere secure to live, fresh young gum leaves every day and a light spray of water to keep them happy, brilliant little things.
There a numerous other animals around here like pet mice, siamese fighters, dogs and a cockatiel but they've all been featured in other threads before now so i'm sure you'll thank me for not including them here
Hope you like the pics everyone! And thankyou for the kind comments thus far, not often i can call these animals 'cute' or 'beautiful' in company without being labelled 'the crazy lady' lol.

Thanks NoteC, i'll let him know. But i think he's already got the picture that he's a little charmer, seeing as how i end up crooning it to him everyday. Hehe. I could stare at him for hours, they're just such amazing animals i can't understand how people can find them ugly.

My little man Elih (the Olive) is certainly a funny critter to have around. Everytime he's finished with his bath he comes wriggling out onto my waiting hands for his rub down with a towel to dry him off and make sure he doesn't get a chill. Sometimes i think he gets himself filthy just so he can have a bath... It seems everytime he has something to eat he insists on rubbing all over it to get nice and filthy... gross... Can't thank the bloke i got him from enough, couldn't imagine my family of reptillian friends being the same without him.

I would love an Olive Python.
Too bad I basically need the training of an elapid keeper. Need category 5 in WA, which is the same category as all the elapids and large monitors.
They're soooo awesome =p
nice pics too

Aww Vince thats so frustrating! I lived in Perth for a few months in '07 and was gutted when i thought i would have to sell my little ones as being non-natives to the state they can't be kept there (or so is my understanding of the matter), luckily my brother loves me enough to get his own licence so he could look after them for me while i was over there. It's rediculous how each state has a different licencing system, it's like we're living in different countries! And to require the same amount of restrictions for keeping Olives as elapids in plain silly. Elih is so calm and friendly (except when its dinner time) but i suppose if it's Pilbarra Olives you'd be getting over there they are rather larger... and a bit more aggressive... oh the pain of it all!
