Cant add anything to what Wrasse has said so far. I am very keen to know what the problem is. Parasites is all I can suggest but if its puss then it would not be skin worms.

Duke, it doesnt have to be clear fluid to be considered blister disease. It can be thick puss and still be classed as a form of blister disease. Anyway, good luck.

yeah every two days for three months and she hates the injection.
Don't really have any more info, just an infection don't really know where she got it, it hasn't spread to the other snakes she comes in contact with. vet said she must have a lower imune system then the others.

That's a fairly heavy dose of baytrill injections. Must be bad.

she's had the same dose before, but only for 1 month, that was before we new what the problem was. it got a bit better after the 1 month dose but came back about a week after they stopped. I've fully cleaned everything with bleech now so hopefully i've killed the bacteria, and she will recover. I don't think oral was brought up. I wasn't there, as my girlfriend is a vet nurse for the vet i go to, so he told her what was going on, at work today.

Ok, Its just that on the info sheet from the manufacturers of Baytril they only recommend injection for the initial dosage and oral after that but no one seems to follow this so I always ask why.
