Pinkie Rabbits

As I have been having trouble getting my Diamond from Mice to rats, I was advised to try Pinkie Rabbits. I did this tonight and he took it straight away and didn't take long to swallow it. How many of you use pinkie rabbits for their snakes?

RE: Pinkie Rabbits

go the rabbits son! they're heaps better than rats, rats are very fatty, the big rave to have your snake on rats is because its a large food source for when they are an adult, you have found an even bigger one!
and anyway, i have found that most snakes will grow outta being fussy as they reach maturity,
(they'll eat anything when their older)
*secondly, we can't have wabbits up here, so we gotta plumb half a dozen rats into our snakes

RE: Pinkie Rabbits

where can you pick up pinkie wabbits from. I am having trouble getting my olive to take rats and would prefer it if he was on rabbits. He will take a rat so long as it has a baby chicken tied to the front of it.

RE: Pinkie Rabbits

rabbits are the best , the poo doesnt smell like it does with rats, they have more meat, they are 50% cheaper than rats because they breed easier, and they range in size from 100 to 3000 grams, perfect for any snake ovwer a yearling id say.

As for where to get them, www.animalattraction.com.au

RE: Pinkie Rabbits

Im thinking of using them later on, kids are used to seeing rattus terminus in the reptile freezer, they dint seem to bothered when chickus terminus came to stay (temporarily) but seeing the youngest has a pet rabbit, it might be tricky introducing wabbit terminus just yet, good thing shell do more growing before shell go a rabbit pinkie!
