poop

when a snake does its poo what is it when theres a white bit and a brown??

my snake alwas has the white and brown bits too... hmm i never know, but i guess its healthy???

thats how its meant to be, looks the same for all animals with a cloaca.....i think, im sure ill get corrected if im wrong.

the brown is the poo. the white are the urates.


Our wee is yellow because our urates dissolve in water. Reptiles urates dont dissolve in water so they come out as water and white stuff.

im not sure if its the same for birds, certainly would explain a lot!


im pretty sure it shouldnt be green in snakes and lizards but it may have been mixed with green poop on the way out

Tis the same as birds, uric acid. Almost powder form, thats why they dont have to drink much as it helps them save water lol

colour is menat to be white in an healthy animal. can change colour especially in birds due to diet. but other medical issues can cause the urates to become green, yellow, brown.
