possible shedding problem

of first question how long should it take for my mac to shed?
also he seems to be getting quite stressed at the moment as he won't even let me near him
so far he has only shed about 1/4 to half way since he started friday arvo.
any thoughts guys?

Bath time, run a warm bath, not to hot and put it in there..let him paddle around then start assisting him with the shed.
You have to be near him to do this but once he settles in the bath he become less
stressed, hopefully.

Hey Lance
My breeding male had the same prob when I first got him (mind you, first time it happened to). After his warm bath, I popped him into a rough sack for about 2 hours......came out shiny....
The warm water helped loosen the old skin.....
The rough sack allowed to rub it all off...
Hasn't happened again since but the First Aid gear is still on hand.....Good Luck.
