Yes ,very nice and looks as pure to the locality it's named for. However i would prefer to call these Whitsunday Carpets as they're found in pockets from around Mackay up to Airlie Beach which has a broad range of habitat although a prominant trait seems to me to be very common to be able to distinguish from other general localities.
I've always said many carpets around this area are definitely veryj ag like in appearance, even down to jag siblings as in the road kill pic below. The only thing or trait i can't see in yours is the marbled or silver eyes plus many have reduced jag like head patterns and the whole body patterning is bordered by a very fine edging of black..nice carpet for sure!!!

Thanks for the comments & info Browns.
I've tried to a some research on the Proserpines but there doesn't appear much out there.

No worries Dave, the best people to get info from are the true breeders of this strain and people living within that range who have seen a gtood overall croos range of typical clour and patterns in the aarea etc If i'm not mistaken your animal is most likely from Bob W's strain where the locality name"Proserpine Carpet" first came from but i can guarantee the animal you have is more a coastal type carpet than dry or inland for the Whitdunday area and i think has incredible potential breeding from similar animals to yours.I put up a pic of that road kill on another forum m.pythons.com and most people didn't know colours like that were found in regualr coastals and a couple even said they'd pay the same price as a jag for similar animals which says a bit about these carpets. Some will obviously be nothing special although i think any animals coming from the original line these
'eg yours" were coined have potential to produce awesome looking animals very jag like in appearance or just better than usual coastal colours.I hope you have a nice male for her to keep the locality pure and representing an animal from true known locality..good stuff

hi dave,
very nice loking coastal, i back up everything that browns has said,
i live around mackay and some of the local wild coastals that i see all the time
around our house are stunning, and they are also the same as the ones browns
see's around airly beach and Properpine, i love some of the different morphs and
colours of coastals, but nothing will be as good as some of the local ones i see
all the time,
cheers,
steve...........

Thanks again for the additional info Browns. I'd really appreciate Bob W's contact details if you have them & Bob is OK with your giving them out - I'd likr to have a talk with him.
Very nice Zard, very similar colours except mines a bit of a better handler lol.
I do have a Proserpine male for her but he's more Coastal looking than Proserpine I think, although he does have nice colouring.
I've included a photo let me know what you think.
Cheers
Dave

Coastals like those above are not just found around the whitsundays but pretty much every where coastals are found. You will find a huge amout of variables in the one area.!! Beats the hell out of me why they are always called prospines when in reality they could come from any where.

Hi Constrictor
Sounds about right I tend to raise my snakes rather slowly as it can lead to long term health problems if they're 'pushed' along by over feeding to get them to breeding size early.
