I have two carpet pythons, one around 3.5 years, the other unknown but estimated 5yrs old. One is a definite female (sexed by URS) and the other a most likely male. While I was able to watch them, they didn't show any signs of breeding interest, but there wasn't any fighting or anything.
Did they mate during the night while I was sleeping, or do I have 2 females? (They were together for 3 days before separation, reintroduction is planned according to a guide in one of my reptile books).
