I understand that he will need at least another year or 2 to be ready to breed but I was looking at getting a female. I have found one that is currently 4.5 years old. Would the fact that the female is older make a difference when the time come to breed? |

Your male would probably breed next year at 3 years, he might even give it a crack this season if given the chance.
