| | Sponsor | Join Date: Jan-06 Location: Newcastle | | | | Calcium is easy to supplement but should be necessary if pinkies are fed for a few monthes. Just think of the wild. Snakes dont leave pinkies because they might be deficient in calcium. It all wevens out in the wash. |

| | | | Yes i have heard of something similar to this, but it was concerning feeding guinea pigs and large rabbits to bigger snakes. The person suggested shaving the food items because a build up of fur could occur as the fur is indigestable. Your vet is not an idiot. |

Nice one.
Goodo Tom...both introduced animals. Interesting.

As long as fresh water is always accessible then constipation is more easily avoided.

Ummm.....Barry.........Rattus rattus (feeder rats) are an introduced pest into Australia.
