Re: Darwin vs Coastal???

Hi, I was hoping that Slateman could reply to this one, seeing though originally when I first joined, you asked whether my snakes were true Darwins. Well my male definately is, but I had questions about my female Slateman, and anyone else out there. She definately has bands like the Darwin, sold to me as a Darwin, but I know she is not truly Darwin. Just want your ideas. I posted this at the time, but didn't get an answer, probably cause I posted it in the wrong forum.

RE: darwins

My first thought was Coastal but you can see a bit of orange in the bands. Coastals can have banding too so the bands don't mean it's a Darwin. What colour is her underbelly?

RE: darwins

I am not good enough to give you answer dragonlady. To give you definite answer from this picture, I would have to be more knowlegeble.
My guess is coastal or Variegata. But whoo am I to give you the right answer. We have more experianced people here than me.
I actually wanted to see adult live Darvin carpet on wild expo in Sydney and there was not any on display.
