yeah i handle her with care. all eyes, no quick sudden change's. clean hands always. I dont handle her after she eats, i dont handle her when she's due for a shed. I watch all her reaction.
And she is fed well. I dont advise others to do it, but its not something i get off on either. I just like her as one of my stimsons. she's a very placid snake. but she still has a lot of growing to do yet, basically she has just grown to that size where im more confutable in handle her then when she was smaller. I dont handle her like a python tho i still keep her head away as much as possible. they probably be the more easy captive elapid to handle , providing its a placid one.
cheers steve.

Its not a perminent enclosure , i just put her there while i was cleaning her enclosure out.
I will be turning it into a perminent enlosure but most probably for my tiger.
ill post pics of it when its finnished. there needs to be some adjustments and gaps + fixture etc.
cheers steve.

We had one in the front yard, and it was going after the cats, so i had to take it to the back paddock and let it go, it wasn't a very aggresive one,
It was quite gentle after i picked it up only bit my Boot but other then that was happy to be held and let go, granted, i was still EXTREMELY cautious

There seems to be more people getting elapids and red bellied blacks or adder's seem to be the first on the list. there are a couple of people that i know that might have some this year around march - april .
cheers steve
