Red Belly Rescue

Just thought I would post up some pics of a RBB recue I did the other day. He was a nice healthy fellow although quite cranky when I caught him as the resident had been chasing him with a stick.

RE: Red Belly Rescue

After ya saved the snake you should have chased the people around with a stick or shovel and see how they like it

Yeh, should have. After I had bagged it he proceeded to tell me how much he hated snakes. At least he had the brains to ring Wires and get someone to remove other than killing it.

Red Belly Rescue

Hugsta thats good stuff mate, loove red bellies hugs they are tops, found one myself near blacktown that was unbelievably emaciated this weekend,i just left it there as its too much bureaucracy involved in doing the carer thing these days. Also from past experience i would not trust anyone else to look after them cause most would not have my experience.

RE: Red Belly Rescue

Hey Oldfella, you should do whats best for the animal, if you don't or can't look after them give them to me. I can get authorised by just making a phne call and can get them free vet care and appropriate rehabilitation. I would rather that then leave them to die, especially if it was as bad as you say.

The guy with the stcik was the one who called as well. Couldn't work him out, he hated snakes so called a rescuer. LOL

LOL Afro, I'll send him the next one. ;-) I did four in two days, was good stuff. Unfortunately one had been run over in a driveway and was dead by the time I got there. :-(

RE: Red Belly Rescue

Yeh Baz, this guy was the worst I have done by far, but that only makes it more fun, he actually reminded me a bit of a brown the way he carried on....LOL

RE: Red Belly Rescue

If it is emaciated because of something natural, leave it. Its hard, I know. But its for the best!
