Reptile Dreaming

Hello guys and gals,
Last night I had the most disturbing dream. My diamond python adult male that recently shed was the main Character in my dream along with me {the villain}
I dreamt that the diamond python had shed but there was old skin still stuck on the end of the tail. I put my arm around the snake and begun to peel the old skin from the snake when suddenly I somehow cut the snake in half. I pulled the snake apart. Then I am freaking out a had the worst gut feeling as I decided that taking the snake to the vet to be put down was the best thing to do.
I woke up, made my coffee as per usual and checked up on all my herps, but when I came to the diamond python I felt so guilty about my dream and have not been able to open his enclosure to get him out yet.


How often do you guys dream about reptiles?

I had a similar dream about my dog. I dreampt i choked her to death because somehow i felt it was the right thing to do... I still feel guilty about it.

Don't drink so much coffee. Sleep deprevation will do funny things to your mind.......

I had a dream last night that my one of my pesky little brother got turned into a python.
It was such a good dream, then my other little brother came into my bedroom, woke me up and said I had to go do mowing, AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! I hate mowing.

I actually had a very strange herp dream last night also! I dreamed that I illegally imported a BTS, only to find some very unusual stowaways with it. Very strange indeed.

i dream about snakes every night, i always get nailed by a venomous snake then i never make it to the hospital, i always wake up before i get there

I had a dream that i was handling my diamond python and he got his head bitten off by my dog....

I had a dream once that i took one of our cats to the vet and he cut its foot off with an angle grinder O_O cept instead of blood coming out this lava like stuff came out.. It was a weird dream.

Thats funny I had one last night lol. Cant remember much but was just walking along a trail with my family and we come across alot of snakes. We froze everytime we saw one to watch them but when we come across this huge RBB it decided it wanted to attack my foot, my brother tried to distract it and i managed to move so it only struck the tip of my shoe Was random anyway lol

I dreamt that I accidently broke my snake in half.... a vet showed me how to 'fix it' but warned me it could only be done once..... as I was walking out of the vets it happened again!

I woke up VERY upset.

I once had a dream that my snake escaped and my dog caught him and bit him in half. The bottom half was wiggling around like a lizard's tail that has jsut fallen off and I picked up the top end (his head and only about 5 inches of body) and took him to the vet and the vet gave him some medication to help heal the end so he could live like that. Was odd.

a year ago my stimsons escaped and haven't seen him since, i have reoccuring dreams of finding him all shrivellled and weak and i wake up everytime feeling really sad. RIP Zorro
