i found a snake on the way home it looks like only one car has hit it.It is about 2ft.Brown with the occasional black fleck on a few scales it has what i found weird a white bellie but with a strong red edges of the bellie just like red bellies . I dont want to down load a pic but if some one could help me just with what they think it is or give me various scale counts. Also i opened its mouth and coulnt find lond front fangs or rear fangs sorry there does look like there is fangs but they are minascule tiny clear on one side i would say probably fixed its definatle not a hypo carpet i had two of them living in my shed one of which was killed by next door neighbour, thinking it was a brown (typical of some to kill anything without knowing what it is).

Brown Snakes usually have brown flecks on the belly, so maybe not a Brown. Does it have a 'groove' along its back? How many scales are there from left to right?
