Hatchies should be about $250 this season.
Unrelated pairs will be available - get you orders in.
also possibly some sub-adult hold backs if anyone is interested.

maybe in 25 years! lol

Springherp quote:

[According to the 2003 statistics that RAZZA sent me, 1 person in NSW owns a rough scaled python on a private license. Also I think John Weigel has a breeding pair at his home.]

That should answer your question, Liberated.
Cheers Artie

It is deffenantly wrong. i was just told that they are only found in a small isolated area in WA, and only 4 people legally own them, Australia Zoo being one of those.

There is only one guy who owns them, John Weigel, of ARP, not Australia Zoo.

Sxe,

One Rough Scaled python was declared in the NSW amnesty by a keeper. This snake is I believe held on a prohibited species licence.

John Weigel has been allowed to collect 5 adults. These have been bred the last few years, however WA Calm has a say who gets them. Quite a few have now been given to other zoos by John.

Hopefully in a few years time they may become available to the general public after the zoos have enough. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
