Hazzard - I thought John called the GTP the poor man's roughie...!?
Your right, then he slashed the price by 50%!

Yes class 2 in NSW! They still do not appear on the species list on the website!

Their both a nice snake but the greens have it over them in my opinion. Still, it wouldn't stop me owning one or three. I like the fact that they are rare in captivity, but I also believe they won't drop a lot in price even with more people breeding. (Short term anyway)

I bet there's some p...ed off herpers out there that invested in rsps in the early days!!!!!!!
I reckon as gtps become more and more available and breeders' lines are proven over a couple of generations (colour wise) we'll see them divided up into "types" that will vary in price somewhat more. At present they seem to be lumped together under a single price range. Probably pretty obvious but just thought I'd throw that up.

No, it's a very good point. There are already a few breeders keeping locale specifics such as biac's, sarongs and meraukee's. Don't ask me how they got the pure stock, but they are consistent with the US lines, by picture anyway.

Thanks . Some interesting thoughts & predictions . I'd take a roughie over a GTP too.
