Hazzard is right, it did only go for 8k.
If I remember correctly, the guy who bred it was only a beginner,
and he'd stuffed up the incubation along the way, and out came this albino.
Snake ranche I think not only bought the snake, but the whole clutch which also
included Mum and Dad.
Thats what I heard, so dont take it as gospel, but if someone no's a different
story and would like to share it ????

At the time a lot of people were bidding so the price achieved was obviously what the market thought it was worth. Talks cheap, but its amazing how when the money actually has to be put on the table the talkers dissappear. As an investment an Albino hatchy is a long way from returning any income . There is no garantee its even heritable . It may die. I have heard of half a dozen different albino anteresia over the past few years but they are still not readily available, so its not as easy to establish a new type of snake as all those who haven't done it make out.

The WC macs come from Townsville and are being held by the EPA there, they won't release them to be bred.
The CB (that cost $8k) one also had some deformities from memory? I don't know what form of Antaresia it was though.

Ah ok, that clears things up abit......from memory it had a kinked spine? but it striaghtened itself out with age.

Why would they Hold an animal and not allow it to be released?? Wither release or give it to a breeder if it is going to be held Captive.
