Most people will tell you its not a good idea to house snakes together because they can be canabalistic as someone posted only last week.

No

Yeah not a good idea. Some people do but IMO I don't believe it's worth the risk.

Is there a big size difference in them? Breeding time if old enough but otherwize I would'nt house together.

if i were you i would try get the female to eat before you put them together. i think spotteds are more prone to being cannibals than other pythons. i found with my pythons that are fussy eaters, i leave them in a dark box with a dead rat, leave them undisturbed for a few hours and presto! i have juvie spotteds together and they are fine. as long as the size difference isnt huge and they can have their own hiding spots they will get used to each other.

I wouldnt recommend it, although people do it succesfully. Spotted are one of the species you can generally keep together, as long as theyre the same size. I kept 2 hatchlings together for well over 6mths until i sold them, and they were fine, as long as theyre fed seperately. Keep asking questions, im sure you'll get more feedback, or even lookup the thread from last week. Good Luck!

we have a friend that housed 3 childrens [8weeks old and all the same size]
together and woke up one morning and there were only 2 left.
one had a huge buldge in the middle, so you have to be careful.

i have kept a pair of spotteds 2gether for nearly 2 years now and they just love eachother! and i recently brought a new pair that are just the same. ive never had a problem with that and think spotteds usualy like the company of another IMO, well ist worked for me so far anyway.

I keep my spotteds together 6 pair all around the same size all are fed apart though, often when introducing a new one it takes time intro duce the male to the female and watch closely for the next hour or so.
