MM, I noticed you don't have the White Lipped Python on your list. They are on NSW list as there are 2 animals legally on paper. Although the may only occur in the Torres Straight Islands.

Cogger (6th ed, 2006) has the white-lipped python listed as:

Liasis albertisii

when people refer to a 'mac' or 'maccie', are they referring to a coastal or a spotted?

mac or maccie usually refers to maculosas...altho it can be used to refer to port macquarie locals aswell.

And coastal can refer to almost any snake that has a coastal variant (maculosas, carpets..u name it pretty much).
