They are not a heavy snake, until they reack around 4-5m, then they get a lot thicker.
You could have borrowed my snake bag, if it wasn't 2 in the morning

thats an awesome snake where i live i'd b lucky to find anything, too much habitat destruction going on.. too mene houses alredy IMO lol. nice piccs

Yes - the thought had crossed my mind... who shall I pick as my helper - Maddy... the fearless reptile keeper from the south... or magpie.. the one and only... I will save you for the times I really need you... This one was Maddy's!!!

Pillowcase would have been fine... Unfortunately it needed to be a tripillow perhaps!

And it wasn't two in the morning... it was just after midnight - Friday the 13th was all but over!

Herpsrule... Lucky the snake was in a snake 'lovers' house... otherwise habitat destruction or not - it could have been attacked with the blunt end of a shovel. I am really happy that this snake was in a 'good' house and not the alternative. And it was in safe hands (although I guess the snake wasn't aware of that).

Mags - wanna go herping up Lake Morris, i hear there's a 3.3m scrubby up there
