Shipping snake's

im just after some opinion's about shipping reptile's interstate?

Here's the thing the mrs and i really want a jungle python and we found one cheap in South Australia, Im a little hesitant about having it shipped to me as i live in NSW andhave heard that the snake's tend to get really aggresive after being freighted is this true?
Or tend to be quite ill after the journy.

Should i just order the little guy and hope for the best?

There are people on here who have successfully had GTP hatchies shipped from Adelaide. I have had BHP's come in from Port Hedland in WA and had no problems. I know of the Jungles you mean ($200 hatchies from what I remember) and the guy sellign them would know how to ship them properly.

I got SW QLD Stimmies from Trueblue from NQLD to the NT without any problems at all. AAE are experienced with shipping reptiles you just have to keep on top of them with arrival times etc. The thing I found is that they are placed in the cargo hold which tends to get really cold so they shouldn't be aggressive when you first get they just wait until they warm up
But I haven't had any horror story experience and would defineatly get animals from interstate again, nothing more exciting then unwrapping the box and seeing them for the 1st time wiggling and alright. Just like christmas

No you didn't mate. check out my post in the for sale section - it states the Herp Trader Ad that has the Jungle Hatchies for $200. Forget petlink mate, Herp Trader actually has REAL reptiles!!!

Thanks.
I know few people who cross breeding coastals with jungles to bring better colours in coastals blood. They do this each 3th generation. I would not like that sort of animal.
