|  | Regular Member | Join Date: Mar-05 Location: melbourne australia Age: 45 | | | | most people keep their young vens in fairly sterile almost surgical looking conditions,the hemostats, forceps and first aid paraphenalia accesorises well with this look i think.Yeh click clack and starmaid or sistema tubs, newspaper, spillproof water bowel and a nice hidey spot or two,a heat pad and a probe thermostat are pretty much all you need.
Adult snakes you can vary this or even make an outside enclosure.

here is internal and external images of a sub adult and juvie red belly cages...it's night, so they are unfortunately in bed... note the large water dish in large cage (she likes to fully immerse prior to shedding and on hot days), locks on both, lots of cover, newspaper substrate (they hide under it) and convenient bandage tucked under handle of juvie cage! heating is under floor in small and by ceramic in large... |

|  | Regular Member | | | | I got this enclosure from cheep as chips for $10. It is secure, and I have used butterfly clips for added security. He is a hatchling - so cool  Love they're jet black faces and eyes  There is a heat mat under one side. (sorry about the photo quality)
