Hi Ali,

Glad to hear everything worked out. So does your snake look like she's recovering?

Hi Stewart,

She appears to be doing really well. I have noticed that she is staying inside her hide a bit more and not coming out, even at night.
I suspect its because of the change in the season tho. She doesnt appear sulky or lethargic. Over all I think she is just giving herself time to heal and recouperate. She didnt like the needle, but who does? But still took it really well, didnt get cranky or bitey. I feel positive that she will be ok.
What do you think about her not coming out of the hide? Any concerns?
Ali.

Hi Ali,

I'm not surprised that she's hiding a bit more. As you say, she's possibly just feeling sorry for herself and staying in bed until she gets better. Just keep a close eye on her (without causing any undue stress).

Stewart

Yes, I dont handle them if they are recovering (im a registered wildlife rehabilitator). Im able to monitor her visually without having to handle her. Thanks again mate.
