Signs of Ovulation??

Hi,

are there any signs that a female is ovulating??? behavioural or physical..

mid-body swelling can occur for a few hours to a few days, it can be subtle or very obvious.They tend to hide away as if on shed when this happens.If you use butchers or news paper instead of some horrible substrate like kitty litter or fake grass you will find that they will always go under the paper especially if you use 10 or more layers. Most snakes will use the paper as a hide more oftern than their hide box if enough layers are used. It may not look good but snakes love it, and it is far more hygenic than most other substrates.
