Hi guys. I work for the Department of Primary Industries at Wacol, down behind the prisons. We get plenty of snakes in and around the buildings and I was after some licensed snake catchers who operate in this area. Being a workplace the callouts will generally be during work hours so you will need to be available to come out then. Yes, of course I asked to be able to be trained for this purpose  , but the boss wants a professional  .
So far I have found the following people on the net:
Geoff Jacobs
Bryan Robinson
Stephanie Goebel
If any of the above people would have difficulty getting to Wacol during normal working hours and are reading this, I was going to call you sometime next week but if you could let me know online it would save me bothering you with an annoying call.

Hey Sue ... I work for the QAS... I have a pretty good list of some snakes catchers..And the only one I have south of brisbane...And logan area.... That you dont have listed is a guy by the name of Peter. 0417616208...
Not sure if he will do Wacol area but worth a phone call

As Stu said, I am available 24/7 to relocate snakes all over Brisbane, Redlands, Pine Rivers, Ipswich and Esk shires. I live about 10 minutes from Wacol so am able to respond quickly as well. If I am unable to attend, I have several catchers who can.

Jonno, I might put you down as our first call since you live so close and you will be able to refer us to someone else if needed. I was dissapointed that the boss wouldn't train me up to relocate them myself. I guess he didn't want the responsibility of the risk. Bugger. I had the relocation training in mind from the moment he asked me to become the site WHSO! It was about the only thing I was actually looking foward to in the role! We consist of farming country, labs and sheds and unfortunately we have afew typical farming attitudes around with the old "the only good snake is a dead one" attitude.
Anyway, looking foward to meeting you. All I need now is a rogue snake or two coming into our warm labs.
