I would get a common tree snake, they are very fast and can escape quickly but are fine to handle, well thats if wild ones are anything to go by.
golden ones arnt expensive so go for a blue one.
They are also the best looking snake on the planet.
I saw one earlier today in my backyard i thought it was a strip of yellow baracade tape for a second, it seemed to have a reduced amount of olive/green on its back and looked completely yellow from a distance
feeding them is the only issue i can think of.
They can get upto 2m but around 1.5m seems more common.
There was a thread about them recently but i cant find it can anyone direct me to it please.
If you want a python get a BHP or a woma or if you want another carpet get a pre tame jungle, bredls or a diamond python. Dont tell anyone but i reckon pythons are very boring compared to tree snakes
But a python cannot run very quick and wont escape easily like a tree snake.
It comes down to your preferance really, the only sure solution is to get all of them |

| tree snakes r easy to handle but you cant let them roam as u could with a python. You really need to be careful with treesnakes to make sure they dont get away as they are very fast and agile, basically the opposite of a python(slow and clumsy).
I only have experience with wild treesnakes they generally calm down in under minute or so when u pick them up, some adults are absolute nutters tho and act like cobras or something which is much better IMO |

i mix it up a bit
i think you should go a golden tree snake as they are generally pretty good to handle but also are quick and agile also there as common as the blue/gree phase also they look way better in my opinion ifi didnt pick that i would go with the ladies and say a diamond |

Why not go down your list and get one of everyone, or better still 2 of everything

get what you want, i liked the jungles so i got them they handle fine and if they turn out snappy you can trade them and try something else. But you dont need 20 years experience to handle a snake you pick up what to do pretty quick especially if you have a flighty snake it will make you a better handler.

Unless you have about $15K stashed away, an adult GTP is a little out of reach!
You should go and see some snake breeders and hold a few different ones, eg. diamond and bredli, see how they look, feel and behave in real life, then make your decision.
And any snake has the ability to be snappy, it all comes down to handling.

Calm down, wasn't having a go! I would go either a bredli or a diamond. They both look nice and have great temperaments (although diamonds can get DPS). I have a bredli, and she is just fantastic.
Do either of those catch your fancy??
