Exclamation Snake Skin

Hey Ladies and Gents,
My Mac is climbing up to the top of his enclosure and he seems to be obsessed by it.. he's getting up there from the thermostat gauge..
I found him tonight and he seemed to be struggling as he usually skims past the mesh that the UV housing sits on top of.. normally he just gets over and gets down by himself..
But like I said earlier, he appeared to be stuck.. i got him out and now to my horror on close inspection it looks as though he has damaged his skin.. looking closely its as if some of his scales have lifted and look a bit rough.. he's acting normal and he's just come out of a shed..

So i just wanted to ask will this scale damage come out in the next shed or will it be permanent?? I really hope not

PS the mesh is covered by fly screen but he still gets around it, and there is no bleeding or anything like that

Any info would be greatly appreciated
Cheers

Should go back to normally after a shed or two, happened often with juviniles and their soft skin... happens with adults aswell but not as much, worst i've ever had was 2 sheds, got under some wood and started doing somthing stupid under there to get his scales a lil damaged, noramlly they just look a lil bent or dinted.
