I was watching a snake doco last night and a guy was researching WA Tiger snakes. He wanted to track them so he assist fed the snake a jelly ball with a transmitter inside it. Wouldn't that disrupt the digestion of the snake? Or be poohed out soon after?
I've seen transmitters injected under the skin before but never done like this.

I'm not certain of that, but I got the sense it was a long-term thing. |
