RE: snake value advice please

seems about right, i would pay around $400- $450 for a pair of NICE yearling carpets, (depends on their quality), and enclosures arent cheap once completed and you dont have to go to the trouble of making one either, so $250 - $300 for a GOOD enclosure sounds alright, providing its big enough and does the job and looks alright.
Just my Opinion, and this WILL be disputed thoroughly......

RE: snake value advice please

in my opinion the enclosure is crap, i keep all my reptiles inside, this person keeps his in his shed so his enclosures are just practical whereas mine are pieces of furniture..

what would be the value of the snakes by them selves??

RE: snake value advice please

u can get coastal carpets pritty cheap now they r a dime a dozen just be careful and if the enclosure is crap i probally couldent justify 700
$60 thermostat
$6 light and fitting
$20 cage 4 light (if fitted)
$80 box can be built 4*2*2 for wood and glass
$30 for extras
so ill let u decide
But in saying that if you like the look of (these) coastal carpets then what does the price matter.. u either want them or u dont
if u really wanted coastal carpets and like these ones u would pay 700 no enclsure
but in the end its up to u
