I had a little left over chicken breast from the cat's dinner so and I've heard you can give you snake a treat every now and then so I thought what the heck.
My first girl, I had left it a little big so I had to restle her for it back and resize it, and she had that with no problems.
She has never been fed anything but mice and rats, so I was suprised I didn't have to tempt her at all. She has always been a great feeder never even striking her prey (lazy bi*tch)
My little boy was a different story, he's always striking his meals and strangling them up to 45mins before even eating them.
This one I just held the little piece of chicken, he was so interested sniffing, kissing it (so to speak) licking it, and then he just opened his mouth with stirking it was quite a shock.
Anyway I only got pics of the big girl, here you go.

Yes, I too recently had a little spotted python partake of his own chicken meal.
However, he pinched it out of my chicken, mayo and tomato roll and wouldn't give it back !

I couldn't believe how quick they both took it, even they they've never had chicken.
Especially the small one that always strikes but didn't this time.

All my snakes seem to love chicken (with or without feathers)
It always gets a good feeding response.
I've met guys who regularly feed their snakes chicken parts right from the market.
When I feed chickens to mine I prefer to use whole birds.
For a balanced diet I primarily feed rodents, chickens are just an additional suppliment.

Yeah I'm the same gekko, I just thought it be interesting to see if they take sliced chicken considering they would never normally receive it.
They normally get rats and mice, this is the first time. It wont be a staple but more a treat, as they're isn't to much nutritional value (for a snake).
But cool anyway.

Mine dont I bought some frozen day old chicks one day to give mine a treat. Everyone of them sniffed the chicken and went the opposite direction. So much for a treat for them. I have stuck to mice and rats since then.
