i recently had my snake without any heat in there cage for a few months and then realised it was too cool for it so i put some high watage bulbs in there to warm them up, well i did a good job, because now they think its the start of summer and there having a bonk, the only problem is that the female hasnt eaten for 3 months and ist quite skinny, will she be okay to have babys or is it going to be risky, anyway i took some snaps to show you, sorry about the poor quality but it is through glass and porr artificial light anyway have a geeza.
ps- how long do they bonk for and how many times

I can't see any snake that looks too skinny. I am sure she will be Ok. Feed her up as soon as it is warm enough for her if you are worried. If she is gravid she will probably stop eating for a while. If she lays feed her up after that.

Sorry, missed the question. They will bonk like teenagers. Often and for hours!!

wish mine were bonking lol very lucky. offer her food, she may take it she may not. and when she lays don't leave them with her if she has no conditiong to last the hole time sitting and shivering.

I have a pair of spotteds that i wasn't going to breed this year as they havent been eating much are alittle on the skinny side....but guess what...when in the other night and yup...they were bonking....
As long as you take the eggs off her and incubate them as soon as she lays and then feed her up she will be fine.
